Chances
are you've arrived from the more touristed areas of Krabi
such as Ao Nang or Phi-Phi
and you're in desperate need of some "down time", a chance
to just chill out for a while. You won't find any luxury resorts, swimming pools or air-con rooms in this corner of Thailand. Wooden "Bungalows" lining the beach and sitting among the palms are your home while you stay on the island. There are only a handful of places to stay and all the local people are quite possibly the friendliest in the country. They are not out to make a fortune from a tourist invasion and just live life in their own unique style. Just go with it!
